ElectroWorx is a making and learning area for electronics, industrial electronics, and electrical systems. It features soldering irons and tools for many users, two benches with dedicated benchtop power supplies, and many other pieces of equipment.
ElectroWorx features:
- A large stockpile of electronic components, all available for member use for projects with no fee.
- A well stocked bookshelf with texts on electronic projects, circuits, theory, and other subjects.
- Arduino components and sensors galore, for the use of any member.
- Industrial automation learning with a PLC-driven pneumatic training unit
- A nearby Ethernet switch with CAT5 internet access.
Other ElectroWorx equipment of a more niche nature includes a stock of vacuum tubes and tube tester, function and RF generator, and lots of 80/20 aluminum extrusion waiting for a cool idea.
ElectroWorx rules:
- If you're leaving a project for more than a day or so, please leave a note with your name and contact information attached.
- Please unplug any soldering irons after you're finished with them.
- Keep the area clean and organized
- If you use a lot of components or consumables, consider donating a replacement if possible.
