TekVenture has a variety of Worx Areas, each with an Area Manager whom you should contact before getting started in that shop.

Upon joining TekVenture, you must sign The Waiver before using any tools or handling materials.  You will be given an orientation tour and the TekVenture handbook.

CLAYWORX - Potters wheels, bisque and glaze kilns, slab roller, work table, and personal shelves. 

Buy your clay and glaze, kiln fees included. 

Monica Koerner, Area Manager. 

Tom Sherbondy, Master Ceramicist loads the kilns and teaches classes.

 

WOODWORX - Peter Bolakowski, Manager 260-341-4875 -Table saw, planer, jointer, circular saws, bandsaws, benches, vices, and hand tools.  We have skilled members who can guide you to the tools you need.

 

MACHINE SHOP - Chris Knipstein, Manager 260 409-7328 - Industrial drills, lathes, drill presses, CNC machines.

ELECTROWORX - Jason Presser, Manager 260-255-7576 - Completely operational!  Soldering, breadboard electronics projects, the usual large assortment of components any member can use. We've added an oscilloscope with modern features.  Jason is constantly putting together new devices from components. 

3D-PRINTING, LASER & PROTOTYPING - Chris Knipstein, Manager 260 409-7328 - Laser Cutter requires a small fee, 3D-printing and vinyl cutter.  Chris or Jason can show you how to load your file and engage the design.

HOTSHOP - Brett Wilds, Manager 260 494-4424 - Welding: Arc Welding, TIG and MIG.  Blacksmithing propane fueled furnaces, anvils and tools, cutters, benders and drill presses.

 

PRINTWORX - Greg Jacobs, Manager 260 416-4516 - Setting up many forms of printmaking on vintage and antique printing presses.

-- ARTWORX - Tools, tables and materials.   Rental studio space is available so get the best spots now!

-- SEWING - In the upper mezzanine.  Multiple sewing machines plus a serger and lots of fabrics you can use free.  Accessories, scissors, threads, some patterns. We also have two sewing machines on the ground floor in the meeting room.

-- TINKER TOWN - Kids' Tool Benches, Tool Track, educational tech toys and games.

-- THEATER REHEARSALS, TECH CONSTRUCTIONS and PERFORMANCES at the Enterprise Center.

 -- JEWELERS & GLASSWORKERS BENCH with a glass cutting saw and little kiln, lots of glass tubes and a desk with lots of drawers.  All of this is donated and dirty.  We need someone to clean and organize it into a working shop area.

 -- VACUUM FORMERS, LARGE AND SMALL
